Privacy Policy for Photo Prompt

This policy describes the Photo Prompt: AI Portrait Android app, also previously known as Prompt Master, developed by AppMaven ("we", "us"). The package name is com.appmaven.promptmaster. It covers the functionality prepared for version 4.0.
At a glance
- Photo Prompt prepares text prompts. It does not access your camera or photo library, receive your personal photos or generate images.
- Your saved prompts and preferences are stored on your device. Android backup or device transfer may also copy app data according to your settings.
- Google services process data for advertising, purchases and optional Play Store reviews. No Photo Prompt account is required.
- You decide what to paste or upload to a separate AI service. That service's own privacy policy applies.
1. Information stored on your device
The app stores favorites, copied-prompt history, custom prompts, preferences, temporary content unlocks and cached purchase status in app storage. Copy history keeps up to 50 entries. Template choices and text you enter are used to prepare your prompt. Search filters the bundled catalog locally. We do not transmit these prompts or searches to an AppMaven server.
When you tap a copy action, the selected text is placed on the system clipboard so you can paste it elsewhere. Clipboard access and retention are managed by your device and the apps you use. Avoid putting sensitive information into a prompt unless you intend to share it with the destination service.
The catalog and sample images are bundled with this version. The app has no sign-up, developer-operated account system or backend for storing your prompts.
2. Android backup and device transfer
The app does not opt out of Android's default backup behavior. Depending on your Android version, device and backup settings, app data may be included in cloud backup associated with your Google account or transferred to another device. AppMaven does not receive or read those backups. Manage backups through your device and Google account controls; available settings vary by device. Removing local app data does not necessarily remove an existing backup.
3. Advertising and consent
The app uses Google AdMob to display ads. Google's Mobile Ads SDK processes and shares the following categories for advertising, analytics and prevention of fraud and abuse:
- Approximate location: your IP address may be used to estimate your general area. The app does not request precise GPS location.
- App interactions: events such as app launches, ad taps and video views.
- Diagnostics: information about app and advertising SDK performance, such as startup time, hangs and energy use.
- Device or other identifiers: advertising ID, app set ID and, where applicable, other identifiers described by Google.
Google states that data collected by this advertising SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. See Google's Mobile Ads data disclosure and how Google uses information from apps using its services.
The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain and manage advertising privacy choices where required, including the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. The app checks UMP's permission to request ads. Consent choices affect which advertising processing is permitted; declining personalization does not necessarily mean all ads stop.
When available for your region, open Saved → About & Legal → Ad privacy options to review or change your choices. You can also manage the advertising ID in Android privacy settings. These controls do not by themselves delete all data previously processed by Google.
An ad-free purchase removes advertising placements when the app recognizes that entitlement. It does not delete past advertising data, remove purchase records or disable every Google component used by the app.
4. Google Play purchases
Optional one-time purchases are handled by Google Play. Google processes purchase and payment information under its own policies. The app receives product and transaction information, including purchase status and purchase tokens, to unlock content, acknowledge transactions and restore purchases. A purchase entitlement is cached locally. We do not receive your payment card number or billing address.
Purchase records remain subject to Google Play's retention and refund processes. Clearing app storage is not a refund and does not erase your Google Play purchase history.
5. Optional ratings and reviews
The app may request Google's in-app review dialog. Leaving a rating or written review is optional. Google Play collects the rating and any text you submit to provide the review service; submitted reviews may be visible publicly on Google Play. The app does not receive the contents through the review API. Google states that this information is encrypted in transit. Manage or delete your review using Google Play's review controls.
6. External AI tools and links
Photo Prompt can open services such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Midjourney. Opening a link does not automatically submit your prompt or photo. You choose what to paste, attach or send within the service. Any text, photos, account information and resulting images you provide there are governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy, not this app's local-storage practices. A Photo Prompt purchase does not include an external AI account or subscription.
7. Support correspondence and other disclosures
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use that correspondence to answer and handle your request. Do not send payment credentials or personal photos unless they are necessary for the issue you want help with.
We do not sell your saved prompts or personal photos. Google and any external service you choose process information as described above under their own policies. The app does not include a separate AppMaven analytics or crash-reporting service. Operating-system and store diagnostics are separate platform services governed by their providers.
8. Permissions and security
The app and its included Google components use network access and permissions needed for advertising and Play Billing, including the advertising ID permission. This version does not request camera, photo-library, microphone, contacts or precise-location access. Android protects local app storage through its application sandbox. We cannot guarantee absolute security for any device, storage system or transmission.

There is no Photo Prompt account to delete and no in-app service that erases all data held by Google or other providers. We cannot delete those providers' records on your behalf. This does not limit any privacy rights you may have. For information held by a provider, use its privacy controls or contact it; for correspondence held by us, use the contact below.
10. Privacy rights and international processing
Depending on your location and the processing involved, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or receive a copy of personal data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Where applicable, processing relies on your consent for consent-based advertising, fulfillment of purchases or support you request, and legitimate interests or legal obligations for security, fraud prevention and recordkeeping. Google's and external AI providers' policies explain their own processing grounds and responsibilities.
Google and other services you choose may process information outside your country. Their policies describe the locations and safeguards relevant to their services. Contact us for questions about information handled by AppMaven.
11. Children's privacy
Photo Prompt is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to AppMaven, contact us. Photos depicting children in sample templates do not change the intended audience. Check the age requirements of an external AI service before using it.
