Privacy Policy for Monster Survivor
This Privacy Policy explains how AppMaven (trading as "Appmaven", "we", "us", or "our"),
the developer of the mobile game Monster Survivor (the "Game", Android package
com.appmaven.monstersurvivor), collects, uses, shares and protects information when you play
the Game.
By downloading or using the Game, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Game.
Quick summary: Monster Survivor has no account registration and does not ask for your name, email, phone number, precise GPS location, photos, contacts, or microphone data. The Game stores progress locally on your device and uses third-party services for ads, analytics, purchase processing, and advertising measurement.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we act as the data controller for the personal data described below. Our advertising and analytics partners may act as independent controllers or processors for the data they receive.
2. Quick Summary of What We Collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, photos, contacts, or microphone data. The Game is fully playable without giving us any personal profile information.

Payment card details are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your card number.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information collected automatically by advertising and analytics SDKs
The Game shows advertising and measures gameplay through third-party software development kits (SDKs). Through these SDKs, the following may be collected:
- Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / GAID): a resettable identifier provided by your device, used to deliver and measure advertising. In regions where consent is required, personalized advertising is used only if you consent.
- Firebase installation / app instance ID: a non-account identifier used to group analytics events from the same app installation.
- Device and technical information: device model, operating system version, language, country/region, and network connection state.
- Approximate location: inferred from your IP address at the country/region level. We do not collect GPS or precise location.
- Gameplay and interaction events: starting or finishing a run, leveling up, choosing upgrades, summoning pets, selecting heroes and maps, ad interactions, and purchase interactions.
- Attribution / install source: via the Google Play Install Referrer, used to understand where installs come from.
3.2 Information related to in-app purchases
The Game offers optional in-app purchases, such as gem packs, "Remove Ads", and "Starter Pack". Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We receive confirmation of the purchase so we can deliver the item. Purchase events, including product identifier and price paid as reported by the store, are logged to Google Analytics for Firebase and to Meta (Facebook App Events) for revenue analytics and advertising measurement. We do not receive or store your payment card or billing details.
3.3 Information stored only on your device
Your game progress, including in-game currencies, unlocked heroes, pets and maps, permanent upgrades, quests and daily-login progress, and the "Remove Ads" flag, is saved as a local file in the Game's private storage on your device. This data stays on your device, is not uploaded to us, and is deleted when you uninstall the Game or clear its data.
If your device has Google Auto Backup enabled, this local file may be backed up to your own Google account per your device settings. We have no access to those backups.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Display advertising, including rewarded ads you choose to watch, and measure ad performance and prevent ad fraud;
- Understand how players use the Game and improve gameplay, balance and stability;
- Process and deliver your in-app purchases and restore non-consumable purchases such as "Remove Ads";
- Diagnose crashes and technical problems. Crash logs are stored locally on your device and are not automatically uploaded to us;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal data for money.
5. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA / UK / Switzerland)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent for personalized advertising and the use of your Advertising ID for that purpose.
- Legitimate interests for analytics, non-personalized advertising, fraud prevention, and improving and securing the Game.
- Performance of a contract to process and deliver the in-app purchases you request.
- Legal obligation where we must process data to comply with the law.
6. Third-Party Services and SDKs
The Game integrates the following third-party services, which may act as independent data controllers or processors and collect data as described in their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) serves banner, interstitial and rewarded advertising, and processes your Advertising ID and ad-interaction data. How Google uses data and Google Privacy Policy.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) presents the consent form used to gather your advertising choices in regions where consent is required.
- Google Analytics for Firebase provides gameplay analytics and collects an app instance identifier, device/technical information and usage events. Firebase and privacy.
- Google Play Billing processes in-app purchases. Google Privacy Policy.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook SDK) is used solely for advertising measurement, including app installs and in-app events such as level completion and purchases, so we can run and optimize install campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. The Game does not include Facebook Login and we receive no Facebook profile information. Meta Privacy Policy.
- Unity (Unity Technologies) and Unity Gaming Services are used to process in-app purchases through Unity IAP. Unity Privacy Policy.
These partners may use device identifiers and similar technologies, including Google's Privacy Sandbox features on supported Android versions, to deliver and measure advertising.
7. Advertising, Personalized Ads, and Your Choices
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the first time you open the Game we present a consent form via Google's User Messaging Platform asking whether you agree to the use of your data for personalized advertising. Ads are personalized only if you consent; otherwise you receive non-personalized ads where available.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the Privacy Options button in the Game's Settings menu.
You can also control ad personalization at the device level:
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads > "Opt out of Ads Personalization" and/or "Reset advertising ID" or "Delete advertising ID".
Opting out means you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized based on your advertising identifier.
8. Your Privacy Rights
8.1 EEA / UK / Switzerland (GDPR)
You have the right to access your data, rectify inaccurate data, erase your data, restrict or object to certain processing, request data portability, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
8.2 California (CCPA/CPRA) and similar US state laws
You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money. You can exercise the opt-out using the device Advertising ID controls in Section 7 or by contacting us.
8.3 How to exercise your rights / request deletion
To exercise any right, or to request deletion of data associated with your device, email us at hacong86@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy Request". Because the Game has no login, please include information that helps us identify the relevant data, for example your device Advertising ID if available.
You can also delete all locally stored game data at any time by uninstalling the Game or clearing its data in your device's app settings.
9. Data Sharing and International Transfers
We share data with the third-party providers listed in Section 6 for the purposes described in this Policy. We do not sell personal data.
These providers, in particular Google, are based in, and may process data in, the United States and other countries outside your own. Where data is transferred out of the EEA, UK or Switzerland, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the Standard Contractual Clauses, as implemented by those providers.
10. Data Retention
- Local game progress: kept on your device until you uninstall the Game or clear its data.
- Analytics data (Firebase): retained according to our Google Analytics for Firebase retention settings.
- Advertising data: retained by Google/AdMob in accordance with Google's policies.
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.
11. Children's Privacy
The Game is not directed to children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required in your country such as 16 in parts of the EEA. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at hacong86@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete it.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect information, and our third-party providers maintain their own security programs. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version at https://appmavenstudio.com/apps/monster-survivor/privacy-policy.html. Significant changes may be communicated within the Game or through the store listing.
