Privacy Policy for Trap Tower
This Privacy Policy explains how AppMaven ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when
you play Trap Tower (the "Game", package name com.traptower.game), available
on Google Play.
By downloading, installing, or playing Trap Tower, you acknowledge the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
The short version: Trap Tower has no sign-up and no login — we do not collect your name, email, phone number, or contacts. Your game progress and settings are stored only on your device. The Game shows ads through Google AdMob, and AdMob may collect data such as advertising identifiers and device information for that purpose. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads, using Google's official consent form.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
None. Trap Tower has no sign-up, no login, and no profile. We do not request any personal information from you.
2.2 Information stored only on your device (not collected by us)
- Level progress, unlocked levels, total death count, and game settings.
- This data is saved in your device's local storage and never leaves your device. Uninstalling the Game deletes it.
2.3 Information collected automatically by our advertising partner (Google AdMob)
To display ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and Google may collect and process:

We do not collect precise GPS location, photos, microphone, messages, or financial information.
3. How the Information Is Used
Data collected via AdMob is used to:
- Show ads (interstitial between levels and an optional rewarded ad to skip a hard level);
- Choose between personalized ads (only where you have given consent) and non-personalized / contextual ads;
- Measure ad performance and prevent fraud and abuse;
- Keep the Game stable (diagnostics).
We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to running and monetizing the Game.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information.
The only third party that receives data is Google (AdMob), acting as an advertising partner. Google may share data with its own ad-network partners to serve ads. How Google uses this data is described here:

These providers may process data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (for example, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
5. Your Choices and Controls
5.1 Advertising ID
You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time: Android Settings → Privacy / Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID (or Delete advertising ID). Deleting it limits ad personalization.
5.2 Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the Game shows a Google-certified consent form (Google UMP) the first time it runs. You can choose whether to allow personalized ads. If you decline, you will still see ads, but non-personalized ones.
Re-open or withdraw consent: You can change your choice at any time by tapping the Privacy button in the Game's main menu, which re-opens Google's consent form. You may also reset your Advertising ID as described in 5.1.
5.3 No ads while offline
If your device is offline, the Game still runs; ads simply do not load.
6. Your Rights
6.1 EEA / UK / Switzerland (GDPR & UK GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold any account or personal profile about you, most data is controlled directly through Google. To exercise these rights regarding ad data, use the Google controls in Sections 4–5, or contact us at hacong86@gmail.com.
Legal basis for processing: consent (for personalized ads) and our legitimate interest in running a free, ad-supported game (for non-personalized/contextual ads, security, and fraud prevention).
6.2 California (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell your personal information for money. The sharing of identifiers with Google for advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under California law. You may opt out of personalized advertising via Section 5 (reset Advertising ID / decline consent). California residents may also contact us at hacong86@gmail.com to exercise the right to know or delete.
6.3 Other regions
Wherever you live, you may contact us at hacong86@gmail.com with any privacy request, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
7. Children's Privacy
Trap Tower is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided data, contact us at hacong86@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps. In line with this, our app is not enrolled in the Google Play "Designed for Families" program.
8. Data Retention
We do not store personal data on our own servers (we have none). On-device progress remains until you delete it or uninstall the Game. Data processed by Google/AdMob is retained according to Google's policies.
9. Data Security
Data transmitted by the advertising SDK is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Because we collect no account data, there is no personal profile on our side that could be exposed.
10. International Data Transfers
Google may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Such transfers rely on the safeguards described in Google's privacy documentation (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change accordingly. Material changes will be reflected in the Game's store listing. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
