Smart Scanner turns your phone into a document scanner that also reads, searches and translates what you scan.

Are my documents uploaded to a server?
No. Scanning, text recognition, search and translation run on your device, and your documents are stored only on your phone. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which receives device and advertising information; see the Privacy Policy for details.
Which languages can it recognize and translate?
Text recognition supports Latin-script languages (English, Spanish, French, German and many more), Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Devanagari. Translation covers more than 50 languages; each language pack is downloaded once, then translation runs on your device.
Can I sign documents in the app?
Yes. Draw your signature, place it on any page, then move, resize or rotate it. You can also add a text watermark.
What formats can I export?
PDF or JPG images, in A4 or Letter size, with four quality levels from original to small. You can share, save to your device or print.
What does Smart Scanner Pro include?
Pro is a one-time purchase through Google Play. It removes ads and unlocks password-protected PDFs, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Devanagari text recognition, and backup and restore.
How do I keep my documents safe?
Turn on App lock to require your fingerprint, face or device PIN, protect exported PDFs with a password, and save a backup file to a location you choose.
