AppMaven Studio provides StitchCount. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Android app, its optional purchases and related support.

1. Content stored on your device

StitchCount stores projects, counter values and history, row reminders, session times, yarn details, notes and settings in local app storage. Photos you select and pattern PDFs you import are copied into the app's storage for use with your projects. Image processing takes place on the device; processed images have their EXIF metadata removed.

We do not operate a StitchCount server that automatically receives this project library. The app does not ask you to create an AppMaven account and does not automatically synchronize your projects to an AppMaven cloud service.

2. Files you choose to export or share

When you export a project PDF or create a backup, StitchCount prepares the file on your device. If you share or save it using another app or storage provider, that provider receives the file you choose. Its own terms and privacy practices apply. Review the contents and destination before sharing. Copies outside StitchCount are not removed when you delete the original project.

3. Advertising and consent

StitchCount uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. The SDK collects and shares IP addresses, which can indicate approximate location; interactions such as app launches, taps and video views; diagnostic and performance information; and device or account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID and app set ID where applicable. Google uses this information for advertising, measurement and analytics, and fraud prevention. This does not mean that your project notes, photos or PDFs are uploaded to our advertising service.

The app also uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage consent information. Consent requests contact Google, and consent choices and status are used to determine which advertising requests are permitted. The app may contact consent services at startup even when your project content stays local.

Where available, use Settings → Privacy options to review advertising privacy choices. Android settings also provide advertising ID controls. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising-related processing. Pro and Remove Ads remove advertising in the app; they do not delete records already held by Google or prevent Google Play purchase processing.

4. Optional purchases and restoration

Google Play processes purchases of Pro and Remove Ads. StitchCount receives purchase and restoration information, including product identifiers and transaction status, communicates with Google Play to complete or acknowledge purchases, and stores entitlement status locally so the app can provide purchased features. The app may check for previous purchases when it starts.

StitchCount does not ask for or store your payment card number. Google handles payment information and transaction records according to its policies. Deleting local project data does not cancel a purchase or delete your Google Play purchase history.

5. Support and external links

If you contact AppMaven Studio, your email address, message and any files you voluntarily include are received through the support email service. They are used to respond to your request and investigate the issue you report. Do not include private pattern files, payment card details or unrelated personal information unless they are necessary for your request.

Opening a website, email app or sharing destination takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices.

6. Retention and security

Local project content stays in app storage until you remove it, replace it through restoration, clear app storage or uninstall the app. Exported files remain where you save them. App preferences and purchase entitlements are treated separately from the project library.

Google controls retention of information processed by its advertising, consent and payment services under its policies. Support correspondence can remain in the support mailbox and its backups; contact us to request deletion of correspondence associated with you. This policy does not promise a fixed retention or deletion period for records controlled by third-party providers.

Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device and any exported backup, particularly when it contains personal notes or photographs.

7. Your controls and deletion

• Delete a project: use the project's menu and choose Delete project, then follow the confirmation shown in the app.
• Delete the local library: open Settings, then Data, and choose Delete all data. This removes the app's project database, imported photos and PDFs. Preferences and purchase entitlements remain.
• Clear remaining local app state: use Android's app storage controls or uninstall StitchCount. Previously purchased features may be restored through Google Play.
• Remove exported copies: delete backups or PDFs from the folders, apps or cloud providers where you saved them.
• Advertising and Google records: use the relevant Google and Android privacy controls. StitchCount's delete button cannot delete Google advertising logs, consent records or transaction history.

There is no StitchCount account to delete. If you have a request concerning support correspondence or another item you believe AppMaven holds, contact us and identify the information involved. We may need enough information to locate the correspondence and verify that the request concerns you. We cannot retrieve your local project library remotely or identify and erase Google's advertising records from your email address.

8. Children and privacy questions

StitchCount does not provide child profiles or request a date of birth. If you believe a child has provided personal information to AppMaven through support, please contact us so we can review the information and the appropriate action. Google and Android privacy controls also apply to the device and account used with the app.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when StitchCount's features or data practices change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised date. Review it when deciding whether to use new features or connected services.
