How It Plays

Every level of Mewside is a cozy pixel art room — a living room, a bakery, a flower shop — with sleepy cats tucked behind the furniture. Drag to look around, pinch to zoom in, and tap each cat you spot.

There is no countdown and no way to lose. Each room introduces a new cat friend with a name of its own, and the cats you find move into a cat house that you decorate with the dried fish you earn along the way.

Rooms also hide a few of the cats' favorite things, such as a ball of yarn or a toy mouse, that pay out bonus fish when you spot them. Come back each day for a small daily gift, and replay any finished room whenever you like.

FAQ

Is there a timer or a way to lose?
No. Mewside has no countdown, no lives and no energy. A wrong tap only makes a small puff of smoke, so you can look around each room at your own pace.
Does Mewside cost anything?
Mewside is free to download and play. It shows ads and offers two optional in-app purchases through Google Play: Remove Ads and a pack of 10 hints. Every cat friend can be met just by playing.
When do ads appear?
There are no ads the first time you play. After that, a full-screen ad can sometimes appear when you leave a room you have just finished, never in the middle of a room and never in the cat house. Reward ads only play when you tap the button to watch one for a hint or double fish. The Remove Ads purchase turns off the full-screen ads between rooms; reward ads stay optional.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Your progress, cat friends and decorations are saved on your device.
Which languages and devices are supported?
Mewside is made for Android phones and tablets running Android 8.0 or later and plays in portrait. The game is available in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French and Japanese.
