Terms of Service for Mewside

These Terms govern your use of the Mewside: Find Cats in Hiding Android game (com.appmaven.mewside), published by AppMaven ("we", "us"). By installing or playing the game you agree to them. If you do not agree, please uninstall the game.

1. The Game

Mewside is a casual puzzle game. You look for cats in pixel art rooms, meet cat friends and decorate a cat house with the fish you earn by playing. The game is free to download and play. It shows advertising and offers optional in-app purchases.

2. Licence to Play

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You must be old enough to accept these Terms under the law of your country, or have a parent's or guardian's permission.

3. No Account and Your Progress

The game has no sign-up or login. Your progress is saved on your device. If you clear the game's storage, uninstall the game or change devices without an Android backup, your progress, fish, unused hints and decorations may be lost. We do not keep a copy and cannot restore them.

4. Virtual Items

Fish, hints, decorations, cat friends and other in-game items are part of the game. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything outside the game, and cannot be transferred to another player. We may rebalance how they are earned or used in future versions.

5. Purchases

The game offers two optional purchases:

• Remove Ads — a one-time purchase that turns off the full-screen ads between rooms. Reward ads stay available because you choose when to watch them.
• 10 Hints — a pack that adds 10 hints to your balance and can be bought again.

Remove Ads is tied to the Google account used to buy it and is restored automatically when you reinstall the game with that account. Hints are used up as you play and are stored on your device, so hints you have used or lost with your save data are not restored. If a payment is still pending, your purchase is delivered once Google Play confirms it.

Refunds are handled by Google Play according to its refund policy. A refunded purchase may be removed from the game. If something did not work as described, write to us first — we would rather fix it.

6. Advertising

The game displays ads supplied by Google AdMob. A reward ad gives its reward only when the ad has been watched to the end, and an ad may not always be available. What advertising involves for your data is described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for the products and services they promote.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• reverse engineer, decompile or redistribute the game or the artwork, music and sounds bundled with it
• use cheats, automation or modified versions of the game to obtain purchases or in-game items without paying for them
• interfere with the advertising or purchase systems of the game
• use the game in any way that breaks the law

8. Intellectual Property

The game, its name, logo and original content belong to AppMaven. Room artwork by LimeZu, cat artwork by ToffeeCraft, and the fonts, music and sounds listed on the game's Credits screen are used under licence from their creators and remain their property. Nothing in these Terms gives you a right to extract or reuse those assets.

9. Availability and Changes

The game may not be available in every country or on every device. Rooms, items and features may be added, changed or removed in future versions. We may stop distributing or updating the game at any time; a version already installed on your device may continue to work, but ads and purchases depend on third-party services that can change.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AppMaven is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the game, including the loss of saved progress or in-game items. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence continue to apply.

12. Changes to These Terms

If these Terms change, we will update this page and revise the date above. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
